Middle School students are offered a variety of high school choices. Many tutor privately for their entrance exams and some are able to afford private singing and acting lessons in order to get "Audition ready for the schools that specialize in music and drama" (PPAS, LaGuardia, Talented Unlimited, Frank Sinatra). Now there is a program that offers students a chance to prepare specifically for these auditions in a supportive class environment.

Arts Performance Preparation (APP) is a six-week program geared toward optimizing each student’s talent in voice and drama in order to effectively prepare them to give their best audition. Our instructors have years of experience working privately with students – and have had great success getting them into the schools of their choice.
Our clear and simple curriculum will give each student the training they need to lay the groundwork for organized practice at home so they will be prepared, confident and successful.

We have been on the “other side” of the audition table and understand not only what the instructors are looking for, but are able to provide each student with the proper repertoire that will allow each student to perform at their personal best.
